Abstract

Right-angle bracket 1 is mounted to the face of a connector block by screws 2. A pair of cables 3 having individual conductors, not shown, electrically contacting the connector block, rest on curved support surface 4 and extend downwardly across clamping face 5 having a set of ridges 6. Clamping member 13 is secured to 1 by screw 9. This forces the inner surfaces of arms 7 to clamp cables 3 against 5 and 6. Indentation 8 provides cable separation. Shields 10 and 11 shield the area of electrical connection, the side shields 11 fitting inside bracket 1. Tab 12 has a tapped hole for securing a grounding lead.
