The device tests both the voltage of a plurality of points by scanning and the voltage of a definite point of such plurality. The voltage at a point has two definite values.

The structure is a matrix with the checking devices being constituted of field effect transistors. The points to be tested are points Aij where i = 1...n, j = 1...m. For any arbitrary point Aij the length of gamma is arbitrary. With regard to field effect transistor Fij, s, d, and g respectively stand for source, drain, and control gate. When Vd = Vs-12 volts, an FET conducts if Vg = Vs and an FET is cut off if Vg = Vs-12 volts. The Fij s supply voltage is received from source Vs via line Lj through impedance Zj. Coil Zj's resistance is negligible with respect to that of R. The Fij d supply voltage is from line Ci.

For testing point AiJ, pulse p is sent through driver Di, causing Fij d voltage to be brought down to Vs-12 volts. Should g of Aij be at potential Vs-12 volts transistor Fij is cut off and nothing happens on line Lj. Should g of Aij be at voltage Vs, Fij conducts during the pulse p duration causing the pulse to be transmitted along line Lj, and be possibly detected across R. The self lambda shows a high impedance to pulse p. The occurrence or lack of pulse p sensing across R is determined by a common device SA.
