Abstract

This contact has upper welded section 11, bowed intermediate section 13 and inverted, U-shaped lower section 15. Rolling action occurs at 17 where section 13 merges to the diverging section 15 with contact of the two arms. If section 13 is urged inwardly, section 15 is urged outwardly. This action is shown in the left drawing. Section 11 is mounted in contact mounting board 19. A downwardly-slidable board 21, when urged against section 13, causes section 15 to contact the plated-through hole 23 in bottom board 24. If section 15 is urged inwardly, section 13 is urged outwardly. This action is shown in the right drawing. Section 13 contacts plated through-hole 25 in board 27 as section 15 is received in a tapered recess 29 in board 31. Section 11 is mounted in top board 33.
