Abstract

This multiconfiguration pressure switch comprises plastic bobbin 10. The latter has a central bore containing pressure movable piston 12 operating magnet 14 against spring 15. Semicylindrical shells 18 and 20 fitting between the ends of bobbin 10, have bores for receiving reed switches 22 and 24. These are operated by magnet 14 and have terminals 22' and 24' protruding through the shells. Reed switches 22 and 24 are positioned as shown by semicylindrical end spacers 26 and 28 to provide one normally closed and one normally open switch. Spacers 26 and 28 can be moved both to one end or the other to provide both normally closed or both normally open switches.
