This circuit emits a series of pulses equal to the number of input pulses on a plurality of input lines. Such occurs even though some input pulses are simultaneous.

Level detectors 10 and 12 have different thresholds. These are reached depending on the charge stored in capacitor 14, which receives current from current sources 20 and 22. The accumulation of charge is a function of the total number of input pulses on the two input lines 16 and 18. Simultaneous pulses on lines 16 and 18 cause capacitor 14 to charge more quickly, since both sources 20 and 22 operate.

Detectors 10 and 12 trigger single-shots 24 and 26, respectively, which have comparatively short time constants. The outputs of single-shots 24 and 26 are summed by OR 28. Reset 30 responds through OR 32 to keep capacitor 14 discharged when there are no input pulses.
