Abstract

This circuit insures synchronization of two rotary selectors. The left-hand drawing shows two contact paths with steps 1... 13 and two contact arms W11 and W22. Between the individual, corresponding contacts of the contact paths there are networks to be connected to the A. C. voltage u, e. g., resistors R. Each specific contact of one contact path is connected to the two contacts adjacent to the contact corresponding to this specific contact of the other contact path through oppositely poled diodes D1. During steps 1... 9, the two relays A and B remain energized through diodes D2. The two rotary selectors W1 and W2 are both advanced in synchronism. Such advancement is effected through the key T (right-hand drawing) and the then operated contacts a and b of the relays A and B. If, e. g.

Such advancement is effected through the key T (right-hand drawing) and the then operated contacts a and b of the relays A and B. If, e. g., only the rotary selector W1 advances, relay B drops out and selector W2 is reenergized through the contact b and the contact d of the auxiliary relay D, so that the missing step is made up for. If the rotary selector W1 is the one falling behind, a corresponding process takes place, relay A dropping out due to the associated diodes D1 and D2 being blocked.

During the blank steps 10... 13, both relays A and B drop out. Rotary selectors W1 and W2 are then, due to the energization of auxiliary relays C and D through armature contacts w1 and w2, automatically advanced through the contacts c and d until on step 1 relays A and B are picked up again. If...
