Abstract

The arrangement is a training system for an adaptive threshold circuit. A 5-position binary counter 1 and a 32-position cyclic ring 3 are supplied with input pulses from the same pulse source PS. The outputs of counter 1 feed the five inputs of threshold circuit TU. This includes a plurality of weighting units W1... W5 which supply a summing circuit. Such in turn supplies a threshold device that feeds the output terminal. Each output from ring 3 is supplied to an And having a second input terminal. To this, an external input, such as a switch, is connected for setting up any one of the thirty two possible binary combinations. These switches are S1...S32. The outputs of the thirty two And's are all fed through Or 5 to another And 7 and through inverter 9 to another And 11.

This, by devices not shown but which is indicated by connecting line CA, adjusts units W1... W5 in TU.

For each combination for which the threshold circuit is on, the corresponding external input is set on.
