Continuous Paper Forms

These forms consist of a strip of paper which, when folded, result in compact self-indexed files.

The strip A is folded in zig zag form. Alternating panels 1 and 2 are of different depth which, when folded to face each other, leave only margins 3. The depth of the margins 3 is equal to the difference between the depth of the deeper panel 1 and the overlying panel 2.

The file B has a compounding panel 4. It is interposed between a predetermined number of sections and is equal in width a-b to the sum of the exposed margins 3 of the number of sections less one.

The strip may also be folded so that the sections of the file are the same size as in strip A. By this folding process, not shown, each section is divided into relatively deeper panels of equal size, separated by a narrower panel, equal in width to the margins.
