Pneumatic Carton Sealer Press

This pneumatic carton sealer is used to square up and securely hold carton flaps under pressure until the applied glue has set. The glue is applied by means of a hand applicator prior to the carton being positioned for sealing.

When the carton is in position between fixed side board 10 and movable pressure board 11, the two air cylinders, connected to plunger rods 12 and 13, are actuated by a control valve. Such causes the side pressure board 11 and top pressure board 14 to come into contact with the side and top of the carton. Thus, the pressure required is exerted to form an effective seal. Pressure exerted by each cylinder is controlled individually by pressure regulators.
