Flexible Terminal Strip

The terminal strip assembly permits accurate and speedy assembly of devices such as magnetic memory planes. It is useful for electrically connecting pluralities of terminals.

The terminal strip consists of a number of separate jumpers, each having eyes at its opposite ends to receive the terminal pins to be connected. The jumpers are supported in proper spaced relationship by a flexible strip of insulating material such as plastic, rubber, etc.

The flexibility of the strip permits the assembly to be deformed or otherwise manipulated as required for easy application. It also permits individual jumpers to be adjusted to accommodate terminal misalignment. The strip also assists in holding all jumpers in place after application pending soldering of the connections.
