Fan Fold Paper Rack

This device not only holds fan fold paper but also causes it to resume its fan fold pack after leaving a printer.

Two side frames 10 of rod are bent and then secured together by cross bars
11...15 to form a stand. A rack 16 is formed by welding bars 17 to bars 14 and 15 to hold a supply stack of fan fold forms. Bars 18 are formed and then welded to bars 20...22 to provide a table 25 sloping toward a slot 23. The bar 22 has a hook at each end adapted to engage hooks on the side frames 10 to removably support the table 25. Secured to the top of the stand is a guide platform 26 formed of bars 27 over which the paper, after leaving the print line, is fed. This guide is located so as to insure that the leading edge of the paper is aligned with the slot 23.

As the paper 28 is fed from rack 16, between bars 13 and 13', over bar 12, around platen 30, over the platform 26 and down, the leading edge either enters slot 23 or is guided to 23 by the slope of bars 18. When the edge is stopped by the bottom of the slot 23 further feed of the paper causes it to fold at the fold line 31 and lay flat on the table 25.
