Printer

A printer includes a number of magnetic reeds 1 which vibrate at different frequencies.

A complex signal, applied to winding 2 wound around core 3, causes certain of the reeds to vibrate depending upon the frequency components of the complex signal.

A portion of a vibrating reed intermittently contacts a pressure sensitive record material 4 which passes underneath. Thus characters are formed on the record material in accordance with the waveform of signals applied to winding 2.
