Abstract

Slides 1 are mounted on arms 2 in a manner shown in the upper left figure. Arms 2 are arranged to pivot about pins 16 in retainer basket 5. Arms 2 pivot and carry their respective slides to viewing position 3 of the projector for viewing. Arms 2 are caused to pivot in a conventional manner from a solenoid selected from a keyboard.

Slides 1 are mounted on arms 2 in a manner shown in the upper left figure. Arms 2 are arranged to pivot about pins 16 in retainer basket 5. Arms 2 pivot and carry their respective slides to viewing position 3 of the projector for viewing. Arms 2 are caused to pivot in a conventional manner from a solenoid selected from a keyboard.

Opposed magnets 4 are energized to precisely position and add the slides in the viewing position, and de-energized when the viewing is completed allowing arms 2 to return the slides to position. The retainer basket is shown partially cutaway to better show the viewing position. All of the arms are not shown but are identical to those delineated.
