Locking Device

A locking device, which may be made of plastic, is provided for locking a thin wire element in place.

A body portion 10 is provided with a cylindrical recess 11 in which is positioned a cylindrical segment 12 of resilient material having a flat side 13. A channel 14 extending from the upper surface 15 through the recess 11 is adapted to receive a wire 16.

The segment 12 is positioned with the flat surface 13 in a vertical position while the wire is inserted. Then, the segment 12 which is in frictional engagement with the recess 11 is rotated to the position shown so that the wire is bound between the recess 11 and the resilient segment 12.
