Abstract

Switch actuator 10 consists of an operating lever 15, a leaf spring 20 and mounting bracket 30 and is adapted to operate upon plunger 35 of electric switch 40. The bracket 30 threads onto the switch 40 so as to permit camming surface 16 on lever 15 to engage the top surface of plunger 35.

Universal Switch Actuator

Switch actuator 10 consists of an operating lever 15, a leaf spring 20 and mounting bracket 30 and is adapted to operate upon plunger 35 of electric switch
40. The bracket 30 threads onto the switch 40 so as to permit camming surface 16 on lever 15 to engage the top surface of plunger 35.

Orientation of lever 15 and spring 20 in one manner enables momentary depression of plunger 35 by camming surface 16. After depression of plunger 35, lever 15 is immediately returned by spring 20. An opposite orientation of the same members effects latching of the lever 15 in one position to permit elevation of plunger 35 and, in another position, to hold plunger 35 depressed.

Operated and unoperated positions of actuator 10 are represented by solid and broken lines, respectively.
