Package Unit Remover

The device shown is used to facilitate the removal of plug in type units 5 which are closely packed. As the device is placed around the unit to be removed the sprung jaws 3 flatten substantially parallel to sides 2 so as to traverse the narrow regions between adjacent units 5.

When the device is fully positioned, the sprung jaws release to their normal shape, causing an audible noise, and position themselves against the back of the package unit. A protective element 4, preferably of sponge rubber, decreases the shock. Removal is accomplished by rocking and pulling the handle 1.
