Abstract

The The unwrapping of wire connections is achieved by the tool bit 10 which may be hand operated or driven by a power drill or other like device in the same direction as the tools utilized for wrapping the wire connections. The tool bit 10 has an end opening bore 11 of sufficient diameter to slip over both the terminal 12 and wire connection 13.

The The unwrapping of wire connections is achieved by the tool bit 10 which may be hand operated or driven by a power drill or other like device in the same direction as the tools utilized for wrapping the wire connections. The tool bit 10 has an end opening bore 11 of sufficient diameter to slip over both the terminal 12 and wire connection 13.

The bored end of the bit 10 is provided with diametrically opposed notches 14, either of which engages the bitter or inner end 15 of the wire connection 13. Upon rotation of the bit 10, the convolutions of the wire connection 13 are freed of the terminal 12.
