     This publication descibes how to query the BladeCenter Management Module via the TCP management port and automatically determine the following:

How many I/O modules (up to 4) are installed in the chassis

What type each I/O module is
Which slot (1-4) each I/O module is installed in

     Using this information and the flow chart below, we can update the firmware of all I/O modules installed in any given BladeCenter chassis.
