Head/Suspension Holder

This head-mounting system affords easy mounting of head
suspension assembly to a tester.  The design the head bar, the
assembly of the head to the bar special fixtures required to test the
assembly, and is compact enough to fit between closely spaced disks
in state-of-the-art disk drives.

The head mount system is shown in Figs. 1 and 2.  Head 1 slides

3 held against both the A and B datums.  Two
small rods 4 are then rotated to clamp the mount block to fixture 2.
As illustrated in Figs. 3 and 4, the rods 4 a small eccentric cam 5
formed on the end which pinches mount block 3.  The rods 4 bend,
providing a spring to hold the mount block 3 against the fixture 4.
