Individual Shared Calendar Profiles

       Consider a computer calendar system which provides a
printed calendar in several different formats, for example, one page
per day, two pages per day, two pages per week, etc.  Within each
format, several options may be available: date format, time format,
starting time, number of hours to print, duplex or non-duplex output,
etc.

      Consider a secretary or aide who is responsible for printing
the calendars for several people, each of whom prefers a different
set of printing and formatting options. The current method would have
this person remember or make a note about the preferences of each
person and his or her preferences.

      The proposed method provides a way to save the complete set of
options for each person individually, and to recall these options
when printing the person's calendar.  Refer to the figure.  This
shows a possible screen of options for printing a calendar.  The user
of this screen would choose the options for each individual,
including the individual's "userid", and then, in this case, press a
programmable key, in this case, the key named "PF4", to save all the
chosen options in a file with the "userid" as the file key to the
values.  This step would be repeated for each different set of
options, or for each person.

      Subsequently, when printing the calendar for an individual,
instead of typing all the options, only the "userid" is typed and a
