Host Print (EBCDIC) the Missing Characters On a Personal Computer All-Points-Addressable Printer

       This program supplies the missing characters that are
present on a host printer but are not available on a personal
computer (PC) printer.

      There are 192 EBCDIC characters on a host code page. Not all of
these characters can be printed directly on all PC printers.  The
character to be printed is given a variable name. The name is
assigned to an escape sequence that will print the character in
all-points-addressable (APA) mode.  This method can be expanded to
any pel density with printers such as the 24-wire IBM Proprinter X24.

      The example below is the registered trademark symbol for
printing by the IBM Proprinter.   A rendition of this example is
shown in the figure.
