Metering Blade Stop

Illustrated is a device which meters disk cassettes on a
roller-type conveyor system to manufacturing stations one at a time.

A thruster 1 (Fig. 1) is attached to a plate 2 which spans
between the two sides of the conveyor.  Fastened to the thruster 1 is
a blade 3 which stops the cassette as it is extended above the
conveyor rollers.  The blade 3 has a slot which moves a metering arm
4 as it rotates about its pivot point.   When the blade 3 is lowered
(Fig. 3) the metering arm 4 is raised and will stop the cassette
which follows the released cassette.  When the blade 3 returns to an
up position (Fig. 2), the metering arm 4 lowers and releases its
cassette.
