Customized Functions for Hardware Simulator Control On the RT

Disclosed is a method of controlling a hardware simulator
with a REXX or C simulation control file.

New REXX functions are created for test case initialization,
model-load, clocking and result checking in a hardware simulator
plugged in the RT* and controlled by the REXX language.  These
functions can access the simulator card (hardware) directly from a
REXX simulation control file.

Similar functions are written in C and are callable by the RT
REXX interpreter written in PL.8.  Once a new function is written and
tested, it is bound to the REXX files and a new REXX interpreter is
generated.
