Multiple-System Dictionaries in Kana-To-Kanji Conversion

       A Kana-to-Kanji conversion program in a Kana-to-Kanji
conversion system is described which controls and consults
multiple-system dictionaries.

As shown in Fig. 1, the conventional program controls only one
system dictionary at a time.

On the other hand, as shown in Fig. 2, the described program
controls one or more system dictionaries at the same time, and can
select priority in access (order of access). The order is reflected
in the priority of handling entries.

The described program has certain technical advantages.
      -    The dictionary can be a classified basic word dictionary
and a special one.  The program controls both dictionaries at the
same time.
-    The program can select dictionary priority and display entries
according to the order of access.
-    If the dictionary format is disclosed, it will be able to make a
system dictionary enrolling special words for his/her fields.

DICTIONARY PROFILE: This profile defines dictionary names and
the order of access.
