Processor With CD-ROM to Meet Class "C" Environmental Standards

       This article describes a processor frame and cover design
with compact disk - read-only memory (CD-ROM) therein which meets
class "C" environmental standards.

      Fig. 1 is an exploded view of the processor frame. Removal of
superstructure A from the frame B allows the mounting of a CD-ROM in
the base height dimensions of frame B.  Fan C, shown in detail in
Fig.  2, is required for proper cooling because of the heat generated
in the CD-ROM.

      Fig. 3 shows the processor cover enclosure D.  In order to meet
class "C" requirements a hinged cover E is added to bezel F.  Two
filter assemblies G and H are positioned inside the cover enclosure D
at air intake areas.
