       Disclosed is a packaging approach which eliminates
cables, minimizes noise and increases reliability.

      The operator panel card 1 is constructed with a card edge
connector 2 which will accept card edge tabs on the power supply card
3.  This connection provides both the power to the operator panel
card and the logic signals for the power supply (power status
indicators) as well as the signals from the main logic card, which
utilizes the power supply card as a carrier of the logic signals.

      The operator panel logic card is mounted with appropriate
hardware to the front of the power supply case. When this is done,
the connection between the operator panel card and power supply card
is made and maintained.

      The main logic card 4 also has a card edge connector 5 which
will mate with another set of card edge tabs elsewhere on the power
supply card.  The main logic card is mounted in such a manner in the
sliding assembly that its card edge connector engages card edge tabs
on the power supply card.

      At this point in the assembly process, the power supply, the
operator panel card, and the main logic card are in electrical
contact with each other.

      The portion of the main logic card facing the tailgate assembly
