Abstract

The figure shows the diffusion patterns for a cell used to implement various off-chip driver and receiver circuits for a bipolar gate array chip. Variations of emitter follower drivers, open collector drivers and push/pull drivers, each with different delay and dv/dt characteristics are handled. Different applications, such as channel drivers and receivers, memory drivers and receivers, service board receiver and main processor drivers are implemented.
