Bearing Cleaning Device

A bearing cleaning device cleans multiple, various sized
bearings by consistently removing rust preventative from the outer
diameter and both sides.

In Fig. 1, place base 1 on a work surface, locate plate 2 on
base 1, place desired bearing positioner 3 on the plate, fill the
positions with bearings and cover with a second plate 2.  To clean
the sides of the bearings, place the bearing cleaning device 4 on top
of the bearings and then move in a circular motion.  Mounted on the
face of the bearing cleaning device 4 is a wipe cloth which can be
replaced periodically.  Remove the bearing cleaning device 4, flip,
as a unit, the upper and lower plates 2 with the bearing positioner 3
and the bearings, then place the bearing cleaning device 4 on the
bearing and repeat the circular motion.  Remove the upper plate 2.

In Fig. 2, use desired bearing pick-up device 5 to remove the
bearings from positioner 3.  Position bearing pick-up device 5 into
the inner diameter of the bearing, push downward until the bearing
snaps onto the outer diameter of the pick-up device 5.  Fill to
capacity and push the sleeve 6 onto the end of the pick-up device 5.

In Fig. 3, place the filled bearing pick-up device 5 with
sleeve 6 onto the outer diameter cleaner.  Lock into place and then
move the slide back and forth to clean the outer diameter of the
bearings.  Mounted on the slide surface is a wipe cloth which can be
replaced per...
