User Controlled Pulldown Size

Provided is a technique which allows users to control the size
of pulldown menus in order to overcome deficiencies in current
implementations.

The user is provided with conventional command bar and pulldown
menu capabilities.  In addition, the user is allowed to control the
size of the pulldown menu.  The technique operates as follows:
Provide normal interaction for selection of pulldowns
via conventional selection and which are displayed in
      default size
Provide drag interaction (i.e., direct manipulation of
the pulldown window via pointer or keyboard) in order
to control pulldown size per user request.

The benefits to the user include new function, ease of
learning, increased conservation of screen space, improved usability,
and consistency with conventional window sizing operations.
