List Style to Display Icons Horizontally With Text On Top/Botton

This article describes a style of list that has icons flowing
across the screen horizontally.  The text describing the icon can be
displayed directly above or below the icon.

Applications can easily manage a single list interface. The
presentation of the list can be easily transformed to this style
through the use of a simple message.

Current list controls do not support the changing of the
presentation style to that of icons displayed horizontally with text
above or below.

The solution is to provide the application with the ability to
change the current presentation style to that of horizontal icons
with text on top or bottom. The list will keep an icon bitmap and a
text on top/bottom string for each item in list. On notification (by
message) of a format change to this style,  the list will repaint the
screen using the horizontal icons with text on top/bottom style.
