Spacer-Screw Retainer

Disclosed is a device for spacing flanges while retaining
mounting screws.  This prevents having to handle loose parts at final
assembly.

The device is comprised of a one-piece construction with screw
clearance holes 10 (Fig. 1) from each end and an inner "rib" in the
middle.  The inner "rib" diameter is dependent on the pitch of the
screw (Fig. 2).

The device can then be placed between flanges 12, screw
inserted and turned to end of threads.  The screw will stop advancing
and is retained through final assembly.
