Abstract

The figure illustrates a redesign of a commercially available 133 mm sample holder for an energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The sample opening is reduced from 133mm to 130 mm to accommodate a memory disk substrate. A second change is a replacement of individual suspension feet in the sample openings. The metal feet are replaced with nylon feet.
