List a Folder Document only that is in the In-Basket

Described is a method of listing a Folder Document only that
exists in user's in-basket.  In so doing, a mail system provides to
an end user only that information which pertains to the Folder itself
independent of the elements that may be contained within it.

A Folder document can be viewed as an encasement of multiple
elements belonging to that Folder.  The Folder itself contains
information relevant to the Folder itself as a single aggregate
entity. The new method describes the protocol and underlying
mechanism by which a mail server provides to an application
information as it pertains to the Folder aggregate only.

This is accomplished by providing an option to the application
that it specifies when listing the details of the Folder Distribution
to return only that information as it applies to the entire Folder.
Information returned includes all of the distribution information,
such as who sent it, when it arrived, etc., as well as the
information about the Folder itself, such as Date Created, Subject,
Creator's Name, Date Last Modified, etc.  The information about the
aggregate, which is the Folder itself, is pertinent information to an
application that wishes to treat the entire folder as a whole rather
than as a collection of parts.
