Abstract

Many P.C. products are currently redefining keys and key positions when they are loaded in the P.C. Some keys have up to four multiple functions when used in combination with other keys. No two products define the keys in the same way. This increases complexity and frustrates users. The Keyboard Extension will provide enough extra keys to eliminate the need for large numbers of multi-function keys. It can be made in several models to contain any number of unique I/O devices (Badge Reader, Remote Control, etc.). (Image Omitted)
