Abstract

Disclosed is a cartesian coordinate robot which can be configured with multiple arms on a single rectangular frame. The robot can be configured with multiple arms by the addition of x-arms (Fig. 1). Each x-arm would have a separate vertical member, z-arm (Fig. 1) and end of arm tool. The arms of this multiple arm robot can operate independently or coordinated. The number of arms can be optimized for a specific task.
