Rack And Panel Cable Management Hook

This article describes a cable management hook which can be
used to enhance the routing and cable control in a rack and panel for
a telecommunication facility.

The drawing shows a typical rack and panel section with
coax-attached devices mounted within.

The rack and panel cable management hook (2) attaches to the
rail (3) mounted on the back side of the rack and panel.  Cables are
routed up along side the rail (3) through the hook (2) and captured
by a rubber retaining strap (4) before attaching to the devices (1).
In this position, the cables (5) are neatly dressed within the rack
and panel. The hook with cables can be easily moved to a serving
position (6) for easy access to individual cables attached to the
devices (1).
