Comb Merge Flexure Feature

This invention provides a means of comb merge/demerge of heads
and disks by providing smooth blended Head/Suspension Assembly (HSA)
surfaces, thereby minimizing hard debris particles.

As illustrated in the figure, features 1 are added, which
extend from the sides of the flexure 2 away from the disk surfaces
and toward the sides of the load beam 3. These features increase the
merge comb 4 to flexure contact area, and provide a blended burr-free
surface which produces less debris particles during their relative
movement.
