Method to Control Glider Head Flyheight Vs Radius Profile

      A simple method to control the flyheight (FH) vs radius profile
of a head flying on a rigid disk is disclosed.

      As the FH of a head varies with respect to the skew angle of
the head (angle of the head centerline to a disk radial line through
the center of the head), the FH can be varied simply by accessing the
head from the id to od on a cord of the disk rather than a
radial line.  The initial and final skew angles, and thus the FH of
the head, are determined by properly choosing the skew angle the head
is positioned at, and the cord the head is accessed along.
