Deselect and Stay Busy until done Printing

Disclosed is a method to provide feedback that an important
document has been printed through the Centronics interface.

The disclosed invention works as diagrammed in the Figure.  The
computer sends the print job to the printer then sends the "Deselect
and Stay Busy" command (ESC Q 255) to begin the process.  After the
command is sent, the printer deselects and stays busy until the
entire print job is finished.  The computer must wait until the
select line goes low, then it can begin monitoring the busy line.
When the busy line is lowered by the printer, the computer checks
that the select line is low to ensure that busy has not dropped due
to power failure.  If the select line is low, the computer sends a
DC1 command to select the printer and begin the next job.
