The Memory Icon

Disclosed is an invention which will retain in memory all data
copied or cut by a user until the user actively deletes the data from
the icon.  In effect, it will be a clipboard with a long term memory.
It will allow the user to attach more than one object or item to it.
With clipboard the user can only attach one item at a time by cutting
or copying.

Currently, a user has no convenient way to store and access
sets of data that the user may need at some time in the future.  The
Memory Icon will permit the user to cut, copy and paste objects at
any time.  The user will be able to query the Memory Icon and access
a list of all data or objects currently in memory.  The user may
select any one of those objects at any time and copy it into a new
and compatible object or container.  Until the user deletes the
object from memory, it remains there.  Advantages will include:
  1) It will provide a memory or storage for data or objects which
the user copies and which will be available to be copied to other
objects until the user actively deletes the object from memory.
  2) It will alleviate the user from creating new objects or data
from scratch.  It will save the user time and make such objects more
easily accessible.
