A method is described of posting the results of a meeting onto the electronic calendar. When a meeting notice is posted to the electronic calendar, there is currently no way to subsequently record the results of the meeting on that calendar event.

Record Meeting Results on the Calendar

      A method is described of posting the results of a meeting onto
the electronic calendar.  When a meeting notice is posted to the
electronic calendar, there is currently no way to subsequently record
the results of the meeting on that calendar event.

      To best understand this method, consider the following
scenario: suppose John has scheduled three weekly meetings in July
for Project A, which occur on July 7, 14, and 21.  There are a total
of 40 items on the agenda for all 3 meetings, with an average of ten
items to be covered at each one, depending on attendance and time
constraints.  Bill receives the meeting notice from John and posts
the meetings to his calendar, but he is unable to attend.  On July 8,
Bill needs to know whether or not item 21 on the agenda was covered,
but John is on vacation for the rest of the week, so he has to
wait until John returns on July 14 before he discovers that item 21
has already been addressed.

      The new method allows John to be able to record the results of
meetings and update the calendar entries for meeting notices he has
already sent.  In this example, after the July 7 meeting, he selects
that meeting, and then selects the RESULTS pulldown or icon.  This
causes a RESULTS entry panel to be displayed, into which John types,
