      New presentation tools are emerging as an application for
multimedia technology.  Unlike the ubiquitous foil projector,
multimedia presentation equipment is not commonly found in the
average conference room.  A design is disclosed for a small,
portable, personal digital assistant that stores and delivers
electronic presentations.

      The TVFOIL device is a pocket-size, portable computer that
contains the hardware necessary to delivery (not develop) digital
multimedia presentations.  The device has memory (in the range of 10
to 20 megabytes), communications interface (like a printer port),
video generation (VGA and NTSC composite), and control buttons for
presentation sequencing.  By eliminating all but the presentation
hardware, the device sheds the keyboard, display, and storage
capacity, making it lighter and cheaper.  (The display at
presentation time will be a television or video projector commonly
found in meeting rooms and auditoriums).

      Once developed, the digital presentation is loaded into the
TVFOIL memory.  A series of buttons, along one side of the device,
can control the start, stop and flow of the presentation.
Information can be presented in multifont text, numbers can be
presented in bar or pie charts (and switched between), and short
animation is possible with the limited memory.

      Fitting inside the shirt pocket, this device can be taken
