Technique for Printing Mail Content Separately from Mail Properties

A program is disclosed that allows OfficeVision*/2 (OV/2) users
to select to print the content of a mail item without printing the
properties of that mail item.

Users can select, via a Print Options dialog box, whether to
print the properties and content, or just the content of a mail item.
The user can change the setting for each print request.  The user can
store a default setting in the user profile.

When an item has been selected to print, OV/2 examines the
Print Options setting and bypasses the generation of the mail
properties print buffer if the user has selected to print without
properties.

For a host mail item that consists only of a message (part of
the mail properties) and has no content associated with it, if the
user selects to print this item without the properties page, a
message will appear stating that nothing will be printed until the
Print Options setting is changed.
