Execution of Multiple Branches of Rules

Provided is a technique that allows users to specify and execute
multiple branches of rules within a rule-based system in order to
overcome deficiencies with conventional techniques.
Provide conventional rule based system support.  In addition,
provide a multiple path execution technique for simplification of
rule definition and execution.  The technique is defined as follows:

o   Define rules in a graphic and visual manner
o   Specify data paths via graphic and visual techniques, where each
data path specifies where data will be routed for evaluation
o   Define multiple independent sets of rules
o   Data paths to be connected to one or more sets of rules, and
o   One execution of the data for the total set of rules

An end user will experience the following benefits:

o   new functionality
o   simple rule definition and execution
o   improved usability
o   reduced errors and worksteps
