Object Oriented Program Decomposition for Generating Program Attributes

A set of program attributes for object oriented program
decomposition is disclosed.  The set is minimal and sufficient to
uniquely define program function.

Program objects must be uniquely defined in a sample program
database.  For efficiency, a minimal set of attributes which uniquely
describes a program object is desireable.  Below is a minimal set of
program attributes for program decomposition:

PROGRAM NAME            The file name of the program.

PROGRAM ID              A unique system generated identi-
                        fier associated with this program
                        object.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION     A brief abstract provided by the
                        program developer.  Contains com-
                        ments on noteable or unique
                        aspects of the program.

PROGRAM COMPONENT LIST  A system generated list of the
                        main user interface objects and
                        classic data structure objects
                        used in the program.

REQUIRED UPDATE LIST    A program developer provided list
                        of components that CANNOT be
