Lighthouse Clock on Card Assembly

      Disclosed is a lighthouse clock system for performing high
access speed on a card assembly by using a lighthouse which is driven
by clock oscillator and flashes.  Slaved devices on the card are
synchronously controlled by received clock light from the lighthouse.

      Light transmission has no delay and no reflection caused by
transmission lines, and straight pass in the space by light transit
speed.  Light clock system is a method of speeding up access speed
simply and reduces Electro Magnetic Interferences and cross-talk
noise.

      An electric transmission using conductive lines has a geometric
restrictions.  Mostly, it is difficult to make connection directly
from a driver to a receiver.  Clock signals run commonly in
conductive lines with making radiation of electric noise and magnetic
noise.

      In the figure, on card assembly 1, a lighthouse 2 of optical
light is provided for emitting light signal generated by clock
generator 3 to all slaved devices 4 which has a photo sensor 5 facing
the lighthouse 2 for receiving light clock signal.

      Clock light signal from lighthouse 2 driven by clock generator
3 is emitted to all 360 degrees horizontally.  All devices 4 receive
the clock light signal by own photo sensor 5.  All devices 4 are
driven synchronously with clock light signal without any skew or
delay.
