Abstract

Disclosed is a procedure which allows a user to scroll within an editor or view window automatically in conjunction with scroll bars. When the window is opened, the cursor will be changed to a 4-pointed arrow style cursor. This lets scrolling occur when the cursor moves to any edge of the window. Left scrolling occurs when the cursor reaches the right side of the window. The same principle could apply to entire screen scrolling. Figure 1 is an example of the automatic window scrolling.
