Method for Preventing Overlayed Objects

Provided is a method for automatically repositioning objects
which become completely overlayed by other objects.

Users often drag objects on a desktop in such a way that other
objects become overlayed.  The problem of knowing where an object is
occurs when the overlayed object becomes completely overlayed.  The
user may forget where the object is and spend significant time trying
to locate it, particularly when the object is small in size.  A
method is needed for managing completely overlayed objects.

Objects which are completely overlayed are automatically
repositioned so that at least an outer edge of the overlayed object
appears beyond the edge of the overlaying object.  Provided is
additional function for round-robinning the overlayed object with
respect to the overlaying object(s) so that an outer edge of the
overlayed object appears on the desired edge of the overlaying
object.  In the rare case when an overlaying object has no free
edges, the overlayed object is moved to an available free space area.
In the rare case when no free space is available, the object will
appear in ghost-like fashion.
