Method for Maximum Task Completion of Isochronous Presentations

      Users often desire to view/hear the maximum number of
presentations within a designated time period.  It is desireable to
utilize the calendar services and the presentation duration time of
isochronous objects so as to allow a user to view/hear as many
multimedia presentations as possible within an inbasket/repository.

      This article describes a method and apparatus by which the
presentation times of isochronous objects within an electronic
inbasket or other repository are arranged in a playing sequence by
which the maximum number of presentations can be presented to a user
according to electronic calendar slots.  Optionally, the user could
specify time durations and the service would present the user with
the maximum number of presentations that could be played within the
designed time duration.  This method would automatically sort the
inbasket, present users with the list of presentations.  Optionally,
users can be presented with the list or have the presentations
automatically executed based on their inbasket/repository profile
default specifications.
