Abstract

Provided to a user is the ability to set up criteria for messages which are deemed important. Message content may be configured with voice prints or content by string specification specified by voice or keypad. After configuration is complete, the user's receiving telephone connection is capable of establishing a successful connect when a caller calls during the caller's absence or ignoring of the call and when the caller is in process of leaving a message.

Method for Phone Call Interception of Calls Deemed Important

      Provided to a user is the ability to set up criteria for
messages which are deemed important.  Message content may be
configured with voice prints or content by string specification
specified by voice or keypad.  After configuration is complete, the
user's receiving telephone connection is capable of establishing a
successful connect when a caller calls during the caller's absence or
ignoring of the call and when the caller is in process of leaving a
message.

      Often, a caller leaves a message as a result of either the
callee being out of the office or on the phone.  For cases when the
callee is out of the office, the callee may return during the same
time a caller is leaving a message.  For cases when the callee is on
the phone, the callee may end the current call before or during the
caller leaving a message.  The message may be very important to the
caller and/or the callee.  A method is needed for connecting a phone
call during all times it is possible to do that, particularly during
times when a caller is leaving a message perceived to be important to
the callee.

      Provided is means for notifying a callee that a caller is in
progress of leaving a message.  Means for notifying a user may be a
hardware signal device such as a flashing or color changing light, a
computer device capable of visuals (icon, computer interface, etc.)
